Sergio Santos' "Context" Series @ Inner Corridor Studio Tour

Sergio's Context series has generated cult interest among collectors ever since his first exhibition of the series in 2005. Sergio never meant for the series to extend so far, but he refers to the process of making the images as cathartic. "It [Context] has become something I work on in between projects to help generate and expand my ideas." It is always interesting to see what new pieces the meditative series generates!

The images will be dislayed, and will run Saturday April 26th, 2008 from

1-8p.m. and Sunday April 27, 2008 from 1-4 p.m. at Elder Street Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.

Sergio Santos is a familiar face in the Houston Art Community. A past winner of the NALAC (National Association of Latino Arts and Culture) Fund For the Arts, and two time recipient of the Houston Arts Alliance (HAA), Individual Artist Grant Established Artist Fellowship, Santos' photography has been featured in group and individual shows ranging from Corpus Christi to Austin.
